I left the wheel lips silver so there would still be a relationship between the wheels and the silver accents on the car. Although i went to the darkside with gold wheels, i have to draw the line at painting the car accents gold to match.

Ask most any automotive enthusiast who started the black & gold paint scheme, and depending on their age, some will say the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. Others will mention the Cosworth Vega, and the older crowd will more often than not say the Hertz Shelby GT 350 Mustangs.
But DeSoto, and Plymouth offered it 1st in 1955 on their new 1956 models.
I think a Crossfire "Adventurer" Series has a cool ring to it.
