INTAKES! Then NW has a set of sheetmetal intakes that are supposed to add 40+WHP across a wide rpm range that number I have yet to confirm, or it's duration. These sell for $1499. on sale with new bolts and gaskets. If anyone has tried both or has hard numbers on either please let your numbers speak! Mark
There are two different areas we are talking here:
Air intake to the throttle body:
Stock there is a dual intake/filter setup that runs to a plastic Y before the throttle body. Needswings sells single and double replacements of this system. You can also build a system similar to what SyFy posted.
Intercooler to engine head:
Stock there is an aluminum Y to the two aluminum manifolds (that you see the SRT logo on). Needswings sells a ported Y and ported manifolds. They also sell sheet metal manifolds that flow even more. Several members have reported power increases across the RPM band which is of interest considering high rpm nature of the supercharger.
