The REST feature also works for me with cool air. The "A/C" runs for a while blowing a slow cool breeze.

As for the Recirculation part... It doesn't make much difference in the sound but to me it makes a big difference in the coldness and keeps out exhaust fumes, etc. when I'm in close city traffic.

My only complaint is the kinda cheap clicky feel the buttons have. I suppose they're well made but the feel is just not there.
