light on recirc. button
anyone know what the little red light is for on the recirculation button for the a/c? its a little red light in the bottom right corner of the button. it only lights up on mine if you turn off the key. also anyone have issues with the recirculation button. i know when i turn mine on it sounds exactly the same as when its off.
every other car i've had when you push the recirculation button you can hear a flap close and the a/c blows colder and better.

The little light is for the REST feature. What it does is allows you to run the heater for up to 15 minutes when the ignition key is off and removed. It's really handy in the winter for keeping your car warm and toasty inside while you run errands. Look in A/C section of the owner's manual. There's a paragraph or two that describes the feature.
The REST feature also works for me with cool air. The "A/C" runs for a while blowing a slow cool breeze.
As for the Recirculation part... It doesn't make much difference in the sound but to me it makes a big difference in the coldness and keeps out exhaust fumes, etc. when I'm in close city traffic.
My only complaint is the kinda cheap clicky feel the buttons have. I suppose they're well made but the feel is just not there.
