I asked if I could sit in it and get a familiar with the controls, she said yes. After I asked several questions about the car, she asked if I would like to take it for a drive and gave me the keys. I jokingly handed her my 66 Vette keys, as a security deposit, LOL! A nice driving car, even though I only took it around the block, a couple of miles. The cruise control stalk is easy to mistake for the turn signal control, but nothing I couldn't get used to. I had heard about this criticism and the lack of a tilt steering column. But, the telescoping column seems more than adequate. Rear visability is limited but much better when compared to a 63-67 Vette coupe. It had 55K miles, and the headliner was starting to fall down on the passenger side but outherwise a beautiful car. So that sums up my first Crossfire driving experience. I am starting to get the permagrin! So I am even more interested in getting one now. I mean.....for my wife, of course, I'm sure she will demand the SRT-6! Need to sell my 86 Vette coupe.
You have to watch out when buying cars from little old ladies.

I purchased my 2006 Jaguar from one. She was a little biddy thing and in the 11,000 miles of use she put on it she managed to burn out the seat and pedal adjustment motors in full high/close positions.

Oh and I still hit the wrong stalk more often than the correct one. It can really wake you up when it engages the cruise unexpectedly just when you thought you were slowing down for a turn.
