Most people assume that Chrysler's 9 State limit is related to climate. However, any of that group could be moved any time after sale to any State and still be covered. So climate is NOT a deciding factor. This can only mean that there was some kind of change in production; which there is NO evidence of. The failures became commonplace several years after production ceased. Chrysler has never published any explanation to my knowledge. The only criteria are model year, State of delivery, & 10yr/100,000mi. Period.
Chrysler has been Bull-S**ting all of us and NHTSA for years and "there oughta be a law" against this practice.
