That just refers to taking a key that will start your car and program it to remotely open and close the doors,hatch and gas cap cover. That does not refer to programing the chip to start the car. That can only be done at the authorized facilities. That is NOT the dealer. For some reason they do not trust dealers to do that programing, has anyone got any idea why that could be?
Many dealers do not safely store your personal information according to the law and leave it lying around on desks or unlocked filing cabinets for all to see. Also many dealerships employ people of known poor moral standards and rip of the dealership left, right and center. When found out these people are often just fired and not prosecuted, leaving them to start all over again at a different dealer.


Never, ever leave anything of value in your car, no insurance, license, wallet etc.
As for the bashing where do you get that from? I tried to help that is all, it will be the last help you get from me.

Reading the eBay ad I see that the blurb says the following "
Programming: We know of no way to reprogram this remote so please do your homework before you purchase. We do not take returns on this item."I think that tells us all we need to know.
