As Srt6girl mentions a slender 5'2" is the perfect size where at 5'10" and not so slender I required a certain amount of surgery (to the car) to be comfortable. This included taking an electric knife to the seat bottom sides and adding a piece of foam to the center (about an hour's work) and the pain in my right hip from being forced sideways went away.
As mentioned in another post I went to an Art show in South Florida today so drove 340 miles RT and feel fine. Had good tunes on my phone and the XF sound system is fine with me.
We'll have to start calling you Dr. Padgett. LOL In spite of the fact that I love the seats as they are, I'm glad that your modifications worked for you and the car is now comfortable on long drives. It sure beats giving up a fine car. I wonder of there are Mercedes seats from a larger coupe or sedan that would bolt in directly that would be a better fit for some of our uncomfortable drivers?
