I was going to take the good Transponder chip and tape into the steering column and get more button boards from Ebay and copy as many Regular keys as I wanted but they got you one way or another. So the only way to get more fully functioning keys (Transponder and lock/unlock board) is to order one by the VIN and THEN do the turn key on and push buttons thing. Cutting the physical part of the key is easy with the machine, I can do that in my sleep.

I have one lost key of two. I'm taking nothing from the "lost" key.

According to the cited thread it can be done and has been done with no more than the process described. I know **** about this process except what has been posted here. I'll let ya know my outcome.
