Yeah the mechanic got back to me and is ordering in a new fan, says it will be about $489 Seems steep to me, what are your thoughts? i was thinking of buying one online and replacing it myself if any of you have had the experience and know how difficult it is. The fan and housing is fastened by 2 little clips at the top, that's it. Disconnect the electrical connection, drivers side, undo the 2 clips and pull it out, There are locating pins on the bottom but you can easily tell when they are in the right place on installation.
