I beg to differ, the part number stamped on the plastic is the part number of that particular plastic part which could be used on all sorts of different air pump models. The Bosch number is clearly the part number on the sticker and is the result of all the different parts assembled to make that particular model of air pump.
The plastic parts have to have a number on them to identify them, the number may also indicate where and when it was made, what mold it was made on, and the particular modification number to that part, in most cases another stamp indicates what material it is made from for recycling laws. I designed molds so I have some knowledge of this matter.
