Default Central Locking Control Module case?

So i just want confirmation this is the unit i'm going to inspect this weekend.

I drove my car to work, parked it and 8 hours later i return but the keyfob wont work. opened it manually and set off the alarm. I dont have an SKREEM alarm because i had the issue of it going off randomly and decided to take it off all-together. but i knew the alarm was going off because of the blinking lights. got in, tried to start but i guess for security reasons, it wont allow me to start. checked the battery of the key fob looked good. pressed and held the lock and unlock or the lock and alarm button? (i forgot the sequence) and it blinked twice. puzzled. i called a friend to bring my spare key. still nothing. popped the hood. unplugged the battery and waited a bit. replugged and still not working. (at this point, i still cant get my car to start because the alarm is still going off and my car thinking it's still locked) so i remembered when i had issues with the SKREEM alarm module, i took out fuse #9 which in turn, kept my car quiet but also kept my car unlocked. that did the trick, everything unlocked and i can now start and stop my car normally.
searched the forums and it seems that the Central Locking module may be the case.

any tips on how to replace or check for faulty lines?

thanks in advance!
