Fred, you're going to have to be a little more specific.
Do you own an SRT, with a fixed spoiler, or do you have the standard spoiler that goes up and down?
The SRT has a known problem with the spoiler's base, but I don't think that's what you're talking about.
If the problem is with the standard spoiler. It can be easily removed by any body shop, repainted, and installed for a few $100. If your car is black, there should be no problem matching the paint. Stay as far away from the Chrysler dealer's as possible.
