Hey Dog, I really can't tell but is there a set of 'pins' on that plastic mounting 'box' that is either 'melted' or 'pressed' onto holes in the speakers? If there is, simply narrowing those 'pins' might have them slip right off. If (also) they are simply pressed on, there may be foam or some type of 'vibration' absorbing material between that speaker frame and the plastic. Good luck!
