If you drove home and the pressure was 39 and you lowered it when the tires were hot the pressure will be below the 32 or 33 lbs when cold. Only check when they are cold.
Thanks charger, I waited for a few hours after I got home then adjusted it to the proppor cold tire pressure.
It amazes me how someone could mis-read the tire pressure label. You'd think that would have been covered in the first week of mechanic school.
