Default Re: Fuel Guage issue

Hey guys,

I was able to remove the sending unit without the special tool listed in the service manual. I used a basic screw driver and hammer (I know old school hehe) but it worked. I replaced it with my new sending unit. My fuel gauge is right now on "Full" i don't know why it is like this but it is definitely not fluctuating or falling to the lowest even when my gas tank is full.

My guess will be because the gas think was full when i inserted the new signal. I will give it time to see if it will balance out.

I definitely think that the fuel sending unit was my issue.

I will let you guys know.
