Kendal is supposed to be very good but is difficult to find.
I'll use what oil is close to the weight. Living in Southern Florida a 5-x would not be bad. i am looking for a cooler T-stat but it seems only the 188* is available so a bit heavier oil is fine for me. It's been 14 years since my SLK hit the streets and oils have changed since then with many good synthetics out there.
