Re: Double bad news in the same week, need help
Thanks Gary, I've had a whole lot of plumbing done ever since I was five years old. (Tetralogy of Fallot). Three open hearts, a pulmonic valve and a massive ICD installed. This is probably why I am a little slower driver than the rest of my crazy XF friends. Thanks for your remarks.
And yes, my car is still able to fire up.
I've just learned to pay attention to early symptoms in many areas of life including the mechanical ones. Male congestive heart failure folks statistically live four to five years post-diagnosis. Women do better at eight to twelve years post-diagnosis. I personally believe Big Kid went out this way b/c diabetes afflicts folks with CHF. You just kind of "go to sleep". Of course, I'm prepared to go any time; and in any way.
See you all at the Fall Dragon!
