Wow Mark put his cape on and went to it. Really great. Mark I have not had any sticky key events but wonder if there'd be time up in fontana to do a clinic on this item? I have the batteries for my burglar alarm and saw one that had been cut open at George's house yest. Marnwhile can't wait to see you and others up there in them hills.
Again Mark huzzah on your Tennessee rescue.

Well, if we end up with a lot of RAIN, then a car clinic at the lodge would not be a bad idea - but other than that, I"m not sure we will have time for it.
I am thinking of another car clinic day - maybe make the key mod the "job of the day" since last time, we did about everything BUT that.
And for those who don't want to tackle it, just printing out the tutorial and handing it to anyone who is kinda handy with tools would probably result in success anyway.

MEGA-THANX TO PIZZA GUY FOR RESCUING ME! Murfi and I were thrilled to host Mark in our home Friday night and to witness his remarkable skills at correcting my "Sticky Ignition Switch" problem on Saturday. Mark also proved once again to be a font of knowledge as a friend of mine, who is considering buying a convertible Roadster, stopped by to seek Mark's wisdom on the subject.
The fact that mine is an automatic threw Mark an enjoyable challenge in at least two places, but he overcame these.
Thanks again Mark and the XF forum folks.

You are very welcome and my time up there benefited me as well.
You have a pretty wife, car and home. The four legged guy is, well, cute - but a character....
