Question Pulling the steering wheel.

Has any one tried this ? Are special tools required ?

No special tools, but you must use only a T30 Torx bit to undo the screws holding the wheel on.
Others have used T27, that is the quick way to ruin the head of the screws and give yourself a real pain in the butt.
Disconnect the battery first as you will have to remove the air bag. Apart from that it is easy enough.

Warning : Do not reconnect the battery until you have the air bag re-installed or the entire SRS will be disabled
and you will have to find a dealer that can re-enable it !!!!!!!!

T30 to undo the 2 airbag screws. Allen socket to remove the tapered cap screw holding the steering wheel, I believe it's 10mm. Take note of the alignmen marks before removing steering wheel
