We went as a small group to the road to no where last spring, takes little more than an hour from the lodge to get there - if you are a walker/hiker at all, plan an extra few hours and you can walk down to the lake and back from the tunnel.

I keep saying that I'm going to do that, but never do. Views from the road itself of the Lake are quite something as well.

That might be something to do Friday morning - we'd be back by 1-3pm and could sit around and wait for the Friday people to pull in...
