Disconnecting Battery
Morning,
2005 Roadster. Tpms system and getting the computer to recognize the new sensors.
433Mz / orig. Schrader. Installed new Schrader's all around 433Mz and no one including Chrysler can make the computer recognize them. Going one more round with Chrysler / they are using a TPM/RK analyzer VT-60 tool and will attempt to input manually ..
I read somewhere on here, that disconnecting the pos battery cable for 10 min. and reconnect will set the sensors? Already tried the Atec VT55 tool and the magnets and driving the vehicle etc. etc.,
Another question, REFLASHING THE ECU was suggested by Schrader and advised me to have Chrysler do that .. BY disconnecting the battery and reconnecting, WILL that RE-FLASH the computer and are there any security codes for the RADIO that have to be re-entered ? I did not see any of this in the owner's manual ... What else to expect after the battery is disconnected.? thanks for any info ..
I have read everything on this website regarding this issue ...
