The taillight relocation sure makes the rear end look wider to me. I'm not a big fan of mixing the two reds though. Instead of bright red, I think I would have used a darker metallic red down the center. But then it's not my dream car, it's his.
I've considered several "alternative" rear spoiler designs myself, but it's been several years, and I still haven't come up with one I'm willing to commit to.
Would really like to see it in person someday. I hope he joins the forum.

Except for the side mirrors (they looked weird to me) , the work was all quality stuff, the shaved door handles and the taillights were perfect. The 2 reds looked much different in person, primarily due to the center being a solid and the outer being the metallic.
I totally missed the extended liftgate until he pointed it out to me. The license plate is part of the liftgate now.
