I cut of the chrome that was peeled back with a sharp knife and then rubbed it smooth with some emery cloth. It worked for a while and then it started peeling off again, I just repeated the operation yesterday. As some have cut themselves quite badly I had better get to it before someone gets blood all over the seat.
Some have stuck the fuzzy side of some Velcroİ tape on the back of the pull bar. I think I'll try that as a solution.
