OK, make it Chrysler and use the Pentastar or go bananas and use the DOHC SLK350 engine, it or the Pentastar should bolt in, you'll just pay a lot more for a Merc and the Pentastar is designed for 87 PON.
Whatever as long as it is an aluminum engine and not an old iron cam-in block.
