These are not coming out as "plug and play mountable".. You could just as easily purchase a 2 1/2" or 2 3/4" diameter fog light off the shelf and achieve the same result .. you will have to fab the mounting to secure it. I personally think the OEM blanks modified would make a better look.. and I'm sure you would still have to fabricate a support bracket to go that route .
I think you have missed the point, no glass or whatever to fill that rectangular space in makes the hole a funnel for all the crud that comes at it.
I have no need to worry though as I have a brand new set of spares on the shelf.
I have an idea to fix the OEM lights with new rectangular lenses. If one of mine goes I'll make one.
