I do not know CHRYSLER's policy towards this upgrade. POWERCHIP assures me that this upgrade will not effect the warranty, but I just don't know. POWERCHIP has a working relationship with DAIMLER, hence this upgrade. Maybe someone on this forum has a more definitive answer. I do know it is just a software upgrade and, virtually undetectable by CHRYSLER service personel so, unless you voluntarily admit to it, they won't have a clue. Also, POWERCHIP assures me that should CHRYSLER accidently burn over the eeprom, POWERCHIP would reload the software free of charge. Of course that opens up a whole new can of worms. One more thing, POWERCHIP offers a 30 day guarantee, so if you do not like the upgrade, they will re-load your old software. Best bet, call POWERCHIP. I believe they have an 800 number.
