My sentiments exactly. POWERCHIP GOLD 91 requires 91 octane gasoline at all times, while POWERCHIP GOLD 93 requires 93 octane gasoline at all times. Check your area for the octane available. The X-FIRE, as it stands now, can use any octane which is why I believe CHRYSLER has not opted for this upgrade. This way, the average joe/jane can put in any octane gas they want. and with the price of gasoline going up... could be a smart move on CHRYSLER's part. As for the upgrade, the chip is on a board that is easily accessible and pops out. Again, POWERCHIP can help you locate the board in question. They're pretty kool and extremely helpful.
