I would do it myself but I'm a little worried I would let all the fluid spill out when pulling the connecter out.
Originally you told us that you were probably going to bring it to a dealer, so Pizzaguy's post was a valid one. Your buddy will be good to have around for you; the fluid and connector alone will probably cost the $109. Depending on the miles, you may want to consider dropping the pan and replacing the trans filter.
