When you open the rear hatch, you'll see a black rubber stopper on each side of the hatch. It's held on with a torx bolt. I think it's a #14 or #20 torx screw. Loosen that screw and slide the rubber bumper down a tiny bit (towards the car). Tighten the bolt. Do the same for the other side and you'll have the rattling fixed.
Not neccessarily, sometimes the bottom latch is wrapped with a few turns of duct tape as well and this really cures it
