I think you meant ,,electrical tape ... duct tape is too thick and will come off when hot( Florida sun)
so here is what to do. the striker on bottom of trunk,,,not on trunk lid wrap about 3 rounds of electrical around it .fixed..wow the dealer wants 496.00 to do that for you LOL.. jim
