Thanks. If you look at photo #2 in my gallery...it shows the cup holder from a better angle. If it tests out well, I will paint the cup holder so it looks better. What I found interesting, is that the door pull bar is not round, but more of an oval shape. That allowed the wire ties (in an X configuration) to hold the top of the cup holder against the door with a little pressure. I glued a piece of leather to the top of the cup so it would not mar my door panel and glued a sponge in the bottom of the holder to absorb condensation. I just like tinkering...an ailment of the retired.
