I'll pull over and shut it off then start it back up and it will be okay, but it's throwing codes for misfire on basically 4 or 5 cylinders, I have plugs I got from rob that I haven't put in yet because I'm going to buy wires first but what I'm wanting to know if this is just because I need to put the new plugs in or is it a sensor or something bigger? Caused by modding it when it has 120,000 miles perhaps?
I could really use some help as this cars my daily I can't afford to mess her up! Thanks!

Did you replace the CPS with a Bosch one? It is suggested that the other ones have pins in them that are too small and do not make contact with the socket properly. Wiggle the connector around with the engine running to see if it is a contact problem.

It is also suggested that the CPS mostly has problems with bad contacts and does not need to be replaced as often as thought. The problem may lie in the plug contact or wire area in some cases.
