Mine originally kinked up when I did the DCAI install. I just took a little more time and rotated the hose on the barb fitting on the intake side. Problem solved.
When yours kinked up did it make it seem like your idle control motor was basically going out? My car is an automatic and it almost stalls itself out while I'm causing in 1st gear.
