I think Garry ran a 14.7sec. in his automatic (with no other mods) using a single NeedsWings CAI.
Doesn't sound like much of an improvement, but in the 1/4 mile it is.
Lot's of people have built their own, but I don't think anybody has built a better mouse trap.
Without a base line before and after.. I can't put any worth in the "this is what I ran thanks to the mod".
My coupe and the wife's roadster both have the 74mm and tune upgrades.. and the "gasp" hot air intakes.
My 06 Roadster is the 68mm and by Eurocharge records.. is not tuned. Torque pro shows it within 2HP and torque of the modded cars. We all know if you line up 10 "identical" crossfires.. 1 is going to outrun the rest.
Just as my 06 is a factory "beast".. LOL.. Gary's may very well have been one of those "above the rest" ones.
