CPS usually causes rough starting conditions, runs rough, then will clear up for a time. Classic symptoms is on a start up. Runs rough, shut it down, re-start runs fine. Sooner or later it won't run at all.
I don't recall the mystery no start thread talking much about letting the car cool off then it start again or the motor just die sitting at a light being the RCM. Re-soldering the RCM is always a good idea but with the number of reports that the car dies while running then won't start till it cools of is reported in way more CPS fix threads.
