Works fine. I keep my car at 190F. If you want to run lower you need to mod your thermostat like Waldig did or you can fit a TruckTech Sprinter thermostat (165F) guts into a stock housing. That takes some custom work also.
I don't think a 165* T-stat would hold the coolant at 165 or even 175* when the nights are 175* but a start. Can you be more specific on what a TruckTech Spprinter T-staT is? Simply the easiest to adapt to the Mercedes housing? Thanks.
