Default Hot wire fan-numbers?

I am thinking of hot wiring the fan and would like advice on what gauge wire to use and what fuse to have in line before I have something more permanent designed or come up with by Eurocharged. Wolf-7 you may be the guy to come up with something we all might learn from, mark

WTF? I told you about the controller box you can buy weeks ago. You can set your coolant temp anywhere you want. There is also an input to run the fan at 50% with a switch. This problem was solved YEARS AGO.

How is yours working? Senile dementia is working well for me it seems. I would like to get the system to run the engine coolant between 175 and 185*. Also a spray onto the heatexchanger would send "afterspray"onto the radiator. Please excuse the LDS effects. Must be something not fwith the system as what i have in mkind would be on every boosted car on this forum

Works fine. I keep my car at 190F. If you want to run lower you need to mod your thermostat like Waldig did or you can fit a TruckTech Sprinter thermostat (165F) guts into a stock housing. That takes some custom work also.

There were over 3000 readers of the posting on running cooler back in 2010 and 9 replies. I don';t think there was much interest. I am very interested and there would be many ways to cool the motor. Mimi said he was sold a T-stat with 4 small holes drilled in it and it worked fine until he went to Maryland(?). I think new T-stat is around $40. I just wanted to start with a simple hot wire and see if the results were positive.
Thanks for the suggestions tunaglove, we are headed for 90* temps here this coming week. I have a lot of free time but not the cash to match.
I also thought of a stand alone system with a reservoir, pump and perhaps a 1/4" aluminum tube with holes drilled in it every inch or so. Would a heat exchanger pump put out enough pressure with such a set-up, anyone? Thanks

I don't think a 165* T-stat would hold the coolant at 165 or even 175* when the nights are 175* but a start. Can you be more specific on what a TruckTech Spprinter T-staT is? Simply the easiest to adapt to the Mercedes housing? Thanks.

Eurocharged claims to provide enhanced cooling mods in their standard tune. I think I'll try the the "track illegal" mod to run cooler, thanks
