What is the difference in srt6 auto transmission and N/A ?
The main question is that my transmission died, but I haven’t seen yet why that had happened.
I try to solve this, but know nothing in auto gearboxes.
The best way to buy another gearbox from any 500 engines
I want my car ride fast in couple of weeks so... what should I do guys?
Thanks for helping bears from Russia

depending on whats wrong with your trans, you could send it to renntech for a complete rebuild for around 2500$

Maybe you know something about difference?
I know you ride on slk for quite a long time like all other senior members here

I was told that both are Mercedes.
The SRT model is Mercedes made for the Crossfire (SLK)
The NA model is Mercedes made for Chrysler (lower quality materials)
Both use TCU from Mercedes (as mentioned, different tune)
My 2 cents

Thats nice, so I could use 722.6

Does there some special things in it which help to provide so much torque?

The shop manual does not mention a different transmission for the SRT and na models, both appear to have the NAG1 auto box. The NAG1 box is the same one listed for the LX platform, 300's etc.
I would hope to hear from Rudy on this matter.
Just my 2 cents (Canadian)

Been researching and found this thread. Did anyone find the specifics on the differences between the NA and SRT-6 Automatic transmissions?
The internals are different to accommodate the torque each transmission is made to handle. More clutches and beefier planetary in the SRT6 trans. The two are NOT interchangeable due to the variations in gear ratios.
.
Hi
The NA transmission is a 722.618 (W5A330) rated at 330Nm, the SRT6 transmission is a 722.633 (W5A580) rated at 580Nm.
The 722.633 transmission is used by Mercedes on M113 V8s and its M112 supercharged V6. The NA and SRT6 transmission have different gear ratios and can't be easily interchanged. The SRT6 transmission has a larger diameter driveshaft connection, to use it in an NA you need to change the connector on the transmission, or fit the front half of the driveshaft from an SRT6 (or an SLK32). The Transmission Control Units (TCUs) are also programmed differently. The TCU is programmed with the gear ratios and the diff ratio. If you fit a V8 transmission to your NA, you'll need to fit an SRT6 TCU and a SRT6 differential (3.07 ratio), you'll also have to recode your Engine Control Unit with the new diff ratio (ie. change it from 3.27 to 3.07). If you don't change the diff, then you'll have to get your existing TCU reprogrammed by a specialist (eg. Eurocharged) as this can't be done using the Mercedes Star Diagnostics software.
My advice is that if you've got a problem with your existing transmission in an NA Crossfire, then get it repaired or replace it with a Mercedes 722.618 transmission. To swap to a transmission from a Mercedes 5L V8 is a lot of work. If you have an SRT6, then no problem.
