The symptoms are obvious: The SKREEM is not reading the RFID chip in the key, so your issue is:

1) The key's RFID chip has gone bad (not likely)
2) The key's RFID chip has fallen out of the key fob (if your key hasn't been crushed and the case is cracked, this is also not likley)
3) THe black ring around the ignitions switch is an antenna the couples to the RFID in the key, it is no longer connected to the SKREEM (not likely unless youve had the dash apart
4) The SKREEM module is bad (probably the issue, there is quite a history of them going bad)


IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT: If you disconnect and reconnect the battery and try the 3 starts enough times, the ECU will do a self-destruct and you will be buying an ECU as well. I hope the dealer knows this and gets to the bottom of it before that happens.
