If you buy a used SKREEM, it has been programmed with a certain RFID code. It is looking for that code from your keyfob. If you order one thru Chrysler, they look up the VIN and order one programmed for the RFID code that was put in the original one from the factory.

If you buy one from wrecked/used car, it will want to see the RFID code that IT was set up for. Now, I GUESS if you bought the keys to the car that the SKREEM came from and transplanted the RFID chips from THOSE keys into YOUR keys - it might work. It's just that the SKREEM may ALSO have some sort of ID code in it that handshakes with the PTCM. SO, the only way to know is to try.

But the 100% sure way to go is to order one from the dealer.
