Am new to this but have had my crossfire 2005 model for 3 years and love it. My problem is I have been told after diagnostics that it needs a new immobiliser control unit. Chrysler part needs to be imported and very expensive but can get a Mercedes part a lot cheaper . I have been told the merc part will not work . Can anyone shed any light on this for me as it seems a bit odd !part number is 1708201726. I have also been told that no point trying to get a second hand part as cannot be reprogrammed. Any help would be much appreciated
