Just got the whistle in the car. It is definitely related to the ac/ heater controls or ducting. I will begin troubleshooting tomorrow. I did discover that if you turn the fan **** to the first indent (pointing at a dot) the sound goes away. I will definitely keep the forum updated on my findings
Three year old thread, but what the hell. Have you looked at the interior air filter? Or maybe a leaf or something in the duct work. CLICK
There is a vacuum valve behind or close to the glove box that can make noise if it is failing.
