I didn't even know there was a bolted-in clamp near the firewall.
And that would be because there is not, at least in my experience and I have worked on at least 12 different Crossfires and never seen a rear battery clamp. There is, however, a notch at the rear of the battery tray where an extension of a battery could fit.
