Default Re: New Member and ready to buy !

Personally, for $14K that car better be super clean and have a clean CarFax and maintenance record - a WRITTEN record.

I bumped into a WONDERFUL Graphite version with 61000 miles for $12,000 two years ago very near me. Came in on Friday, I looked at it Monday. Test drove it, ran like a raped ape - it was unmodded, but WHAT a difference from the N/A.

I took 24 hours to consider it (and the fact I had no business paying $12K for another toy) and decided to buy it. Called the dealer, it was gone. $14K is probably not out of line, but it just seems a bit high to me. Were it a ROadster, and Graphite, I could see $14K

Of course, it's all easy for me to say - with my job concerns right now, I'm not buying anything. If ya love the car and it's close and it's right - well, it cost me $1400 to go get my Graphite and drive it home 2200 miles - so it's all relative.
