Thanks.
Most of us have made the crankcase breather & valve cover repairs ourselves. Not particularly a difficult task, but is somewhat time consuming. With the crankcase breather covers, lost of preparation required to get the surfaces completely clean. I did this repair by only removing the air cleaner box and without removing anything else (i.e., valve covers or any of the coil packs). If the valve covers are also leaking, then you can try just tightening the valve cover screws to 7-8 ft-lbs (these are the larger screws you see throughout both valve covers & a few pass thru the crankcase breather covers). In many cases, these are just loose and the valve cover leaks.

And as a precaution, when performing the crankcase breather repair, never re-use the aluminum screws that hold these down on the valve covers. These are a 1x use only! And don't require much tightening force (maybe 3-4 ft-lbs). Just slightly over "finger tight" will do. Otherwise, you'll break the screw head off & then be required to extract a screw thread using an "easy-out". Motor is typically "rock solid" in these cars, but it isn't "Detroit iron". Takes more "precision or critical" maintenance than a "backyard mechanic" tugging & pulling on these engines.

Regarding the headliner, again, many of us have completed a recovering ourselves. Somewhat of a pain getting the headliner out & back in. And lost of prep work to get the headliner thoroughly clean before recovering it. If you remove the headliner yourself & take it to an upholstery shop for recovering, probably going to cost you $100-$150. If you have the upholstery shop remove & re-install the headliner, probably talking $250-$300.

And as pizzaguy stated, neither of these would keep me from purchasing the car in & by themselves.
