Hey dedwards my wife and I had a swift GT we got new about the same time. That was one awesome and fun car. It was red.
We bought ours new in 1993 from a dealer in Durham, NC. Recaro bucket seats, 5-speed manual, and perky 1.3 liter dual overhead cam motor. I always got in trouble in that car! Here's a couple of pictures:
