Could it be that the sc did not even try to come on when you were at 1/4 throttle, but then at wot the PCM sent a signal to the sc clutch to engage and that is when the fuse blew. Could be the short is in the wiring from PCM to sc clutch. splice 104 is located on top of the left side of manifold. Just a guess; I'm no electronic tech!
this could be it , it happened after I changed air cleaners , I could have pinched something . were exactly is this splice ?
