The problems expressed regarding XFires in this forum parallel the problems experienced by SLK owners on the Mercedes Forum. The big difference is that they pay a whole lot more money for their problems.

One difference I have noticed is that the SLK owners gripe more about their paint and paint jobs than the XFire owners. Maybe that is a product of the Karmann factory paint process as opposed to a Mercedes factory paint process?
