Chrysler Dealer refusing my request, what to do?
I've owned my Crossfire for roughly 3 weeks now and absolutely love it. My only gripe about this car is that now on three separate occasions, my check engine light has come on right after downshifting into second gear and giving the car gas. After doing some research, I found that there is a TSB issued for my car (mine was built 07/03) for an ECU reflash that is supposed to take car of this issue. I brought my car into the dealer, told them the problem, then told them the TSB I wished to be performed. After telling them I needed the car back ASAP for my job, it sat on their lot for 2 days without anyone so much as glancing at it. Then, on the third day, I called them and they told me that their Crossfire tech had left the country for a week and would not be back until next wed. This made me absolutely furious. They, in turn, had another tech or two look at my car and they determined there was absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle.
Now, I know what needs to be done here. The TSB issued by Daimler-Chrysler fits my car to a tee. But, I can't convince these morons at Chrysler that this is in fact the problem. Anyone have any advice as to what I should do?
